Shri Kalyanika Meditation and Retreat Center
Small meditating places are developed amidst the trees in the beautiful 32-acre facility for the peaceful practice of meditation.
There are some individuals and families that come and stay at the Retreat Center regularly. Many visit on weekends. Children have a good time at the Retreat Center playing in a safe and natural environment.
Free Food Facility
The retreat center commits to offering virtuous meals to residents and staff. Continuous provision of nourishing food is a priority, with breakfast and tea served in the morning, and full meals provided during both noon and evening. This complimentary food service ensures that all individuals, both residents and working staff, have access to wholesome and satisfying meals throughout the day, fostering a sense of well-being and community within the retreat center.
Hostel Facility
A hostel facility beds is available. When many more people are expected, extra space for sleeping and meditation is provided in large tents. Permanent facilities at the Retreat Center include: –
- Family rooms, men’s and women’s dormitories,
- A well-equipped kitchen that can provide for a large number of people,
- A meditation room,
- A computer center,
- Camping spots,
- Parking facilities etc
Religious Practices
‘Sanatan Vedic’ religious beliefs and matchless philosophic practices are the essences that encompass the complete Kalyanika retreat and meditation environment. The unique idols and pictures of various Gods and Goddesses all collectively impart divines to the environment. The center has organized holy religious ceremonies and systematic worship schedules. Similarly, the evening prayers and the sacred chants & notes of the pious instruments create eternal vibrations and develop a religious aura all around. Multi-colored florets, various roses, systematically arranged green lawns, and parks, create unique serenity which captivates the soul and generates spiritualism within. The presence of saffron-clad saints and hermits in the retreat center portrays a miniature of ancient ‘Bharat’ amidst us.
Kalyanika Meditation and Retreat Center conduct all religious ceremonies with great joy and devotion. Several learned and mystic saints from all over the country and abroad generously participate every year in various celebrations conducted here. Generous ‘Feasts’ are served to the devotees.
